I thought these looked suspiciously round for their size so I had a bit of a bash at a pearl. The nacre is VERY VERY thin, so I'm offering them at cost. They're very large 13.6mm down to 9.9mm at clasp. Surfaces are quite wrinkly, quite shiny, soft lilacs and lavender colours (pale pinky and blue tones). Either wear them a lot then throw them away if the bead nucleus starts to show through, or save them for occasional wear. Strung on silk, even though they're large, since I doubt it will be an issue (see above on wear). |
