These are GORGEOUS! Bead nucleated freshwater pearls, the Chinese Kasumi look-alikes. Very rare. Lots of lovely deep ripples and wrinkles, some smooth areas, very high lustre. Excellent lustre, with golden overtones in indirect daylight, very pale peach in artificial light, here at the computer they look very pale gold.. I almost did these with sterling silver, but gold looked better. I thought they were just very pale peach, when I took them outside, they went golden. Strung on powerpro and knotted with 2mm round rolled gold beads between each pearl. EARRINGS: have a drop of 3cm from piercing, and pearls measure 10.8mm x 10.5mm x 11.1mm and 10.7mm x 10.8mm x 11.2mm. |
