These beautiful, delicate freshwater pearls would be second harvest, After the biwa sticks were harvested the mussels would have been put back into the water for several years. Nacre would build up in the sacs left by the first harvest, resulting in these perfect little stick keshi pearls. Superb lustre, white biwa sticks with strong rainbows strung on powerpro and knotted between each pearl. They drape beautifully, fanning out. 2.5mm rolled gold beads are dotted along the strand. Because they're end drilled they would probably drive you mad if you tried to wear them at work. Better for dinner out. |
