Golden Frilly: Pondslime Off Rounds With Pondslime Belly Drilled Keshi Freshwater Pearl Necklace Golden Frilly: Pondslime Off Rounds With Pondslime Belly Drilled Keshi Freshwater Pearl Necklace
Description: I've been saving these unusual keshi pearls until I found some natural colour gold pearls to go with them.
The most eye catching feature of this necklace is a mass of belly drilled white keshi pearls with very strong pondslime markings giving a frilly look. They are mostly gold, with just small touches of white showing.
The lustre isn't showing well in the photos, but it is there.
The smaller pearls are round to off round, unbleached white freshwater pearls with almost complete pondslime markings and satiny lustre, almost the colour of tarnished brass. I've used them at the necklace ends for comfort.
Rolled gold donut spacer beads are placed randomly in amongst the belly drilled keshi.
Necklace diameter centre front is about 21mm.
Strung on white powerpro and knotted.
Grade: AA+
Pearl Size: Off Rounds: Around 8mm; Keshi: 10mm to 21mm centre front when clustered and strung.
Length: 22.75 inches (57.79cm)
Clasp: Handmade rolled gold hook and eye.
Price: 325.00 AUD + Postage

Character Multi Toned Graduated Freshwater Pearl Necklace Character Multi Toned Graduated Freshwater Pearl Necklace
Description: These would have to be my favourite type of pearl! They have so much character, gorgeous colours and shimmery lustre. Surfaces are wrinkly, metallic and bumpy and they wear their blemishes proudly. Blemishes consist of some gaps in the upper lavers of nacre, allowing the lower levels to shine through (see pics).
Shapes are round to baroque, some ovals. They are very heavy.
Character pearls have the most amazing rich colours, here we have purple, lavender, lilac, pale gold and peach. .
I've strung them on powerpro with oxidised sterling silver daisy spacers and I love the way they look together.
Grade: A+
Pearl Size: 11.9 at the front down to 9.3mm at the clasp. Most between 10.5mm - 11mm.
Length: 18.5 inches (46.99cm)
Clasp: Handmade fine silver hook and eye.
Price: 130.00 AUD + Postage
Item Number: 1355

Stunning Kunzite and 11mm Pink and Silvery Lilac Freshwater Pearl Longer Necklace Stunning Kunzite and 11mm Pink and Silvery Lilac Freshwater Pearl Longer Necklace
Description: Lovely shimmery tropical pearls again. I just love them! These are in lighter shades of silvery lilac and cool pinks, a few have golden overtones, a few rose. I've teamed them with some beautiful kunzite nuggets (some are pale green which gives them the name hiddenite, though they are still of the spudomene family), the rest are pale lilac pink (kunzite). Some have lovely delicate striations, others have none. The lovely fine wrinkly appearance of the pearls go beautifully with the delicate yet chunky kunzite nugggets.
Strung on white powerpro for strength and knotted. 3.2mm sterling silver donut spacer beads either side of the kunzite nuggets.
Grade: AA+
Pearl Size: Pearls: 11.3mm down to 10.1mm at clasp; most around 11mm. Kunzite/Hiddenite: 13.5mm x 9.4mm x 6.9mm, 12.4mm x 10.9mm x 7.4mm down to 10.7mm x 9.5mm x 6mm.
Length: 27.5 inches (69.85cm)
